How many Beriev BE-6 are preserved or remain in existence ?

Three planes exist:
1 in Russia, Safonovo, as monument from 1969;
1 in Ukraine, Crimean Peninsula, near Donuzlav Lake, as monument from 1974;
1 in China, Bejing, preserved in aviation museum.

How many Beriev BE-12 are in service and with which units ?

Be-12s were in service with the following units (the list is likely incomplete):
(1) 33rd Training Centre of Soviet Naval Aviation, from 1964;
(2) 318th Separate Long-Range ASW Air Regiment (Donuzlav Lake, Crimea), Black Sea Fleet, from 1965;
(3) 555th Combined ASW Air Regiment (Ochakov), Black Sea Fleet, from 1966;
(4) Separate ASW Air Squadron, Pacific Fleet, from 1967;
(5) Separate ASW Air Regiment, Northern Fleet, from 1968;
(6) 49th Separate ASW AIr Squadron, Baltic Sea Fleet, from 1970;
(7) 163rd Training Air Regiment (Lugansk), 20 planes in 2 squadrons in 1971-77, disbanded in 1977;
(8) one 20-plane squadron of 130th Training Air Regiment (Lugansk), from 1977.
In 1996, some more than 40 Be-12s remained in service with Russian Naval aviation plus 22 planes were in reserve. Maritime Air Group of Ukrainian Navy had 14 Be-12PL/PS (Nikolayev) in 1996.
