My dear Americans!

My dear Americans,

Irregardless, whether you are friends or not. One thing to say - please accept my sincere condolences for the tenth anniversary of those horrible events, that took place at 9/11. Many people would argue, that after what happened, you, the Americans, have hanged the world by the rope, but one thing remains way too obvious for the praying eye - your suffering. The world has changed indeed, but the pain still is there.... That horrible terrorist attack that happened on your soil was the pointer of what lay ahead of us in the years to come. But we ignored it... And now we are paying in blood of our own citizens for our ignorance... day by day,... and we see no end of it.

Please, allow me to say this. Despite our very strong differences, we are still the same. And your should know that you are not alone in this world. The differences make us so strikingly different, but our weaknesses, our suffering unite us the way we never thought before.

I know that not a single Russian passed his (or her, at that point) condolences today (hopefully, I am strongly mistaken). But, please know one thing, today, you are not alone. At least one person from Russia stands by you and says - "Мы одной крови, ты и я. Позволь мне стать рядом с тобой и нести бремя той горечи, что у тебя на душе".

May the God bless you all...

e320, Thank you.
The longer I live in the US the more I realize how close our nations are. We all want the same things - chasing our dreams, safety, strong families, future for our kids and hope to be strong and smart enough to take the fight to our enemies when needed.

Since this is an aviation forum, I think it will be appropriate to post the names of the crewmembers who flew west that day.
God speed, rest in peace, my friends:
