Soviet flag and new reg?

I will be honest and say that, I don't know if this is a question big enough to warrant its own thread, but I'm curious to find out.

For a few years after the collapse of the USSR, some aircraft flew around still wearing their CCCP registration while also carrying the flag of their respective republic:

But does anyone know if the opposite ever happened? A new registration, but still carrying the Soviet hammer and sickle.

Haven't seen any in his Flickr albums, or anywhere else, but my way of thinking in this matter was that just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it didn't happen. And who knows what kind of photos someone's grandparents have stuffed in a shoebox somewhere?

It's on my to-do list.
It sure looks very interesting, as does the Yak in question. I mean, it's not a huge difference from what we're used to seeing, but it looks quite a lot weirder.
