I have two questions and I hope any of you will be able to help. Please have a look on the attached photo.
This photo represents 15-2459 one of three sold Su-25UBKs to IRGCASF in 2003. 15-2457, 15-2458 and 15-2459 all were manufactured by Ulan-Ude factory. There were also an
order for three Su-25Ts, but they never delivered because of the sanctions.
Somebody told me they are 81 RED, 82 RED and 83 RED, which are now stored at Lipetsk AB

Also, IRGCASF lost one of its three Su-25UBKs (15-2459) in 2011 and both of its pilots were KIA. Location of the crash was reported Siri Island in Persian Gulf, but another
source is claiming it had crashed near Kerman. Everything is confirmed its two pilots burial.
Just 18 months later, this Su-25UBK appeared in Mehrabad airport and performed three Functional Check Flights. It has same serial !story?
Does any of you have any info IRGCASF has bought a new Su-25UBK from Ulan-Ude or possibly a second hand Su-25UB from Belarus?
I'll be pleased if any of you has some information on this.
