А ведь парень интересный вопрос задал..
Nato per sr-71
Ok many thanks. I apologize for interrupting any discussions.
So, ok: for my part, no questions about possible military secrets, so no questions about the Mig-31.
But in the West, for many years, in the books there were things too simple about Russians aircrafts; like aircrafts too big and difficult to fly, etc ...
I'm an aviation fan; former military flight school cadet in the Accademia Aeronautica in Pozzuoli, near Naples. Aircraft SF-260. Unfortunately not graduated like a military pilot (for my error).
Is it possible talking about Tu-128 and Mig-25?
I read that Russia has withdrawn the last Mig-25R for reconnaissance missions, so maybe that also this aircraft is no longer secret military.
The Tu-128 is totally unknow in the West. It is treated almost like a prototype, but, reading in this Forum, now I know that it isn't.
1) How was it flying with the Tu-128?
2) Why so big? In order to carry a lot of fuel?
3) Was it possibile in flight refueling with the Tu-128?
4) Operated also on an iced runway?
5) Why the training version (aesthetically impressive!) had three seats? The cadet in the first cockpit?
6) The Tu-128 reach the stratosphere?
Thanks
