Embraer Receives ANAC’s Type Certificate of the Multi-Mission Airlift KC-390

BRASÍLIA, Brazil --- Embraer celebrated another important milestone today by receiving the Type Certificate from Brazilian aviation authority Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) for its multi-mission airlift KC-390. The certificate was delivered by ANAC’s Director Juliano Alcântara Noman.
The ceremony, held at the Brasília Air Force Base, to celebrate the Aviator Day and Brazilian Air Force Day, was attended by the President of Brazil, Michel Temer, Minister of Defense, Joaquim Silva e Luna, and Brazilian Air Force (FAB) Commander, Lieutenant-Brigadier Nivaldo Rossato. The ANAC certificate completes a fundamental step towards military certification, when the aircraft will reach the Final Operational Capability (FOC), expected to happen by the end of 2019.
“The certification of KC-390, the largest and most complex aircraft developed throughout Embraer's history, expresses the high technological level achieved by the company,” said Paulo Cesar de Souza e Silva, president and CEO of Embraer. “I would like to congratulate the teams that participated in the development of this program in partnership with the Brazilian Air Force.”
“We are honored and proud of the development of the KC-390, which will become the backbone of FAB's transport aviation in the coming decades,” said Jackson Schneider, president and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security. “Extremely efficient and capable of fulfilling a wide range of missions, the KC-390 will certainly represent a leap in the operational capability of the Brazilian Air Force.”
Embraer KC-390 is a tactical transport aircraft designed to set new standards in its category while presenting the lowest life-cycle cost of the market. It can perform a variety of missions such as cargo and troop transport, troop and cargo air delivery, aerial refueling, search and rescue and forest fire fighting.

Поводом для судебного решения стал иск двух депутатов бразильского парламента, выступающих против сделки.
"Я частично и в предварительном порядке поддерживаю запрет на какие-либо действия со стороны правления Embraer по вопросу передачи Boeing коммерческой части компании через СП",- пояснил судья. Он намерен вернуться к рассмотрению иска в январе 2019 года, после вступления в должность избранного президента Бразилии Жаира Болсонару.
Boeing и Embraer подписали соглашение в июле. Фактически Boeing получит контроль над подразделением Embraer по производству гражданских самолетов. Американский производитель будет владеть 80% акций СП, которое оценивается в $4,75 млрд. Стороны намеревались закрыть сделку к концу 2019 года.

A Brazilian federal appeals court has overturned the injunction issued last week to stop the commercial aviation tie-up between Embraer and Boeing.
Embraer says the "provisional measure" was revoked by a panel of a federal appeals court.
"The company will keep its shareholders and the market informed on any material developments related to the class action," it adds.
A federal court in Brazil issued an injunction last week to block the proposed commercial aviation joint venture between the two companies, following a class action lawsuit brought against the planned deal by a group of Brazilian lawmakers in July.
Boeing and Embraer have yet to finalise a deal, which requires approval from Brazil's government and company shareholders.
Embraer had said it planned to secure Brazil government approval for the partnership within the current administration of Brazil president Michel Temer, whose term ends on 31 December. Incoming president Jair Bolsonaro is reportedly supportive of the planned partnership between the two companies.
The two companies plan to close the deal by end-2019. Under the proposed tie-up, Boeing will purchase an 80% share of Embraer's commercial aircraft business for $3.8 billion, leaving Embraer with the remaining 20%.
Brazilian aerospace firm Embraer and Boeinghave officially formed a joint venture on Embraer’s KC-390 multimission aircraft as part of a larger partnership on the companies’ commercial sides.
Under the new agreement, Boeing and Embraer will work together to “promote and develop new markets” for the KC-390, according to a statement released early Monday.
Embraer will own a 51 percent stake in the KC-390 joint venture, with Boeing owning the rest.

Portugal announces Firm Order for the Multi-Mission Airlift KC-390
São Paulo, Brazil, July 11, 2019 – The Portuguese Government announced today a firm order of five multi-mission airlifters Embraer KC-390 as part of the process to modernize Portuguese Air Force capacities to support national Armed Forces operations and increase readiness in missions of public interest. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2023. The KC-390 is designed to set new standards for efficiency and productivity in its category while presenting the lowest life-cycle cost of the market. The aircraft can perform different types of military and civilian missions including humanitarian support, medical evacuation, search and rescue and firefighting, while fully meeting the requirements of the Portuguese Air Force, adding new superior cargo and troops transport, aerial delivery and aerial refueling capabilities. “Today is a historic day for the KC-390 Program and I want to thank those who have contributed to the project. This is a very important step to consolidate the aircraft which we believe will become another success for Embraer. The Portuguese KC-390 will meet new interoperability requirements, in the areas of secure navigation, data and voice transmission that will allow the KC-390 to integrate joint operations in multinational alliances in which Portugal is integrated. These requirements, developed in partnership with the Portuguese Air Force, will enable the KC-390 to meet the needs of many other nations around the world.” said Jackson Schneider, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security. “The industrial partnership between Portugal and Embraer contributes to the development of engineering and the Portuguese aeronautics industry, representing more than 300 million euros in exports each year and thousands of highly skilled jobs.” Portugal is the largest international partner of the KC-390 Program and its participation in the development and production of the aircraft is recognized as having had a positive economic impact in the generation of jobs, new investments, increased exports and technological advances. The KC-390 has received its Civil Certification from the Brazilian National Aviation Agency (ANAC) in 2018 and is now in full serial production. Entry into service is expected to occur in the 3rd quarter of 2019 with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), with follow on deliveries to occur throughout the year.

или они хотят разнести компоновки, чтобы ряды 18-30 относились к другому типу/шагу кресел, или это какие-то религиозные заморочки типа отсутствия 13 этажа в зданиях.
У них и в B767 аж 53 ряда Я так думаю, есть (или были) планы на трёх классную компоновку.AC-HK согласен, хотя места B и E на 767 уедут, но чем провинились ряды 18-30 пока непонятно, Если только в расчете на будущий 773 в плотной компоновке.
Нечто подобное и с буковками и с нумерацией рядов не так давно сам лично встретил, но к сожалению уже не вспомню тип и АК, помню только что самолет был широкофюзеляжный, с двумя проходами, как бы не 767 Ютейровский, но не уверен.Почему у Embraer 190 - Air Astana после 17 ряда идет 31-й
